Visitors can climb aboard the 48-seat white submarine and relax while it moves along the coastline, before plunging to a depth of 100 feet.

Strong underwater lights attract some of the biggest fish in the reef. Watch the glint of a sliver tarpon as it moves through the water, searching for smaller prey. 

Peering out the round windows, passengers get a close-up look of the barrel sponges and brain coral on the reef, as well as the mischievous creatures hiding in the nooks and crannies. See lobster, turtles, crabs, and beautifully-coloured fish.

The submarine’s on-board guide will point out interesting sights outside the glass windows during the 50-minute tour. For those who have never been so far under water, it is a fascinating and exciting experience.

Atlantis Cayman was established in 1985 and is certified each year by the American Bureau of Shipping standards.

If for any reason power on board the sub fails the vessel automatically floats to the surface, and a surface control boat stays with the submarine throughout the tour and is in constant communication.

There are no age restrictions for passengers, but children should be at least three feet in height as the vessel’s on-board safety equipment is not recommended for children under that height.
