With so many miles of pristine coastline in Cayman, it’s no surprise that beach weddings are so popular. There are many different beaches where you can tie the knot. The challenge is to choose the right stretch of sand.

Seven Mile Beach
Cayman’s most famous beach is a favourite for beach weddings. The stunning white sand, turquoise sea and spectacular sunsets combine to create one of the most idyllic settings imaginable. For simple ceremonies, any public beach can be used and wedding coordinators can arrange for archways or gazebos at the water’s edge as well as seating for guests and floral decorations. For those who want to hold the ceremony and reception in one location, various resorts can organise both these phases into a beach wedding.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman
At The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, every guest is made to feel like royalty. For those planning to wed, a personal wedding planner is dedicated to working with you to turn your ideas into a real life fairytale event. Wedding packages start with simple and intimate beach ceremonies for just the happy couple, while there are a number of different lawn and beach options for more elaborate occasions.  

Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa
The Westin Casuarina offers full wedding packages for anywhere from two to 400 guests. Ceremonies can be held on the beach, by the pool or on the lawn. In addition to outdoor settings, the resort offers seven unique spaces where dinner and dancing can be held. Smith Cove
Just two miles south of George Town, Smith Cove offers an intimate charm that cannot be matched by the wide open stretches of Seven Mile Beach. The location is a wonderful backdrop for wedding photographs with a picturesque mixture of rocky limestone, fine white sand, lush green trees and vibrant blue sea.

The Wharf
The Wharf is an ideal venue for a wedding, combining a virtually private beach with a charming restaurant. Ceremonies can be held on the small beach in front of the premises, followed by a reception on the expansive open terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea.  The Wharf is adept at hosting weddings, and is able to set up private tents on the oceanfront deck, creating a secluded area for the wedding party of dine, dance and celebrate.

Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill
Well away from the busy Seven Mile Beach area, Kaibo Beach Bar and Grill offers an intimate and secluded venue. The ceremony and reception can both be held on the beach, overlooking the calm waters of North Sound. The bride and groom can walk a conch shell-lined aisle before enjoying dinner under the stars. The wedding party and guests also have the option to arrive by boat.

Private villas
Smaller wedding parties can take advantage of the convenience offered by a rental villa. Some of the properties available for rent can accommodate up to 30 guests. Stunning holiday homes can be found in wonderful beach or oceanfront locations on all three islands, affording you a breathtaking backdrop for your vows. This option offers the bride and groom complete privacy as well as a contingency plan in the case of bad weather.
