The Cayman Islands was recently voted one of the top 10 islands in the Atlantic by readers of Condé Nast Traveler. The islands were hailed for their atmosphere, beaches, friendliness, accommodation, restaurants and scenery.

The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman was also honoured by Condé Nast Traveler, named the best resort in the Caribbean for the third consecutive year.

The Cayman Islands’ incredible diving is the subject of a new video game, Dive: The Medes Secret. The game, created by Cosmonaut Games, recreates real underwater scenes from Cayman, as well as other locations from around the world.

Trip Advisor, the world’s largest travel community, has honoured the Cayman Islands in its 2010 Travellers’ Choice Award. Cayman tops the list in the categories of Best Beaches, Relaxation and Spa, Outdoor and Adventure, and Romance.

Scuba diving show, Into The Drink, highlighted the Cayman Islands in a recent episode. Described as ‘a drinking show with a diving problem’, Into The Drink focused on the islands’ diving scene and local rum.
